How it's measured

Every five minutes, each region connects to these services on port 443 and sends one HEAD /. Any HTTP answer below 500 counts as up; SLOW means a TCP connect over half a second; PART means some addresses (often IPv6) failed, or the service answered with a server error; -- means that region's probe didn't answer. A problem counts toward the verdict once it shows up in two sweeps in a row. Official is the service's own status page, open incidents only (Cloudflare, Akamai, GitHub and Wikipedia for now); it's shown beside the measurements and never changes the verdict.
